I’ve been seeing a lot of stunning Easter baskets lately and decided I had to make one for my daughter. This one is obviously themed for a little one, but you could easily change the colors or add more to it. The basket idea is not at all original to me. In fact, you can take classes on how to make some truly elegant baskets over at the Heartfelt website.
I used several Heartfelt Creations dies to make the flowers, handle, and core basket section along with some leftover lace I had. The base and Easter eggs I cut out with my Cricut using the Heartfelt Flower Shaping Paper. I love that stuff and use it for pretty much everything from flowers to card bases.
The flowers were made using the Classic Rose Collection stamp and die with some floral stamens tucked in.
Basket core is made from part of the Lattice Flourish Die.
Finally, the handle of the basket was made by putting two of the Tickets and Tags strips together.
